An Experienced Divorce Mediator Can Make All The Difference

Choosing a mediator with litigation experience can help you understand the court process and how it relates to you and your divorce.

I am Katerina Kalabokis, and I left the world of litigation in search of a better way. I understand that working with clients during their divorce process means consistently dealing with good people on their worst days. Working under that understanding, I can really get to know each person underneath the current conflict and bring out the best in each person. This will allow for both parties to go through the divorce process in the most amicable way possible and come to a resolution that will benefit both parties in the long term.

I have experience in many types of alternative dispute resolution such as mediation, conciliation and collaborative law which has allowed me to build a robust ‘toolbox’ of skills to help all different types of couples come to an ultimate, positive resolution.

I am an impartial mediator who will listen to you and your families’ needs and then advise you of your options. Once you feel comfortable that you have reached an agreement and you fully understand your options, I will help you draft your Separation Agreement and walk you through to completion.

I am licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire and have counseled numerous couples through the divorce process both via litigation and via mediation.

I am a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, New Hampshire Bar Association, Family Law section of the New Hampshire Bar Association, and American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.

I graduated from Suffolk University Law School, and I specialize in Family Law. More specifically, I focus on the areas of divorce, divorce mediation, child custody, estate administration and estate planning.
